Who We Are

Prostate Cancer 911 is a specialized urologic oncology practice located at 485 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The practice was created by Dr. David Samadi to raise awareness about prostate cancer and to give more men access to timely, expert treatment. Our focus is narrow by design: cancers and conditions of the prostate, bladder, and kidneys, along with the men’s health issues that often accompany them.

Dr. Samadi is one of a small number of surgeons in the United States trained in open surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and robotic-assisted surgery. That combination gives him a deep understanding of pelvic anatomy and the flexibility to adapt during complex procedures. Over his career he has performed more than 10,000 robotic prostate surgeries, and he developed the SMART Surgery technique (Samadi Modified Advanced Robotic Technique) to improve cancer control, continence, and sexual function after prostatectomy.

What We Treat

Our practice provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a full range of urologic conditions, including:

Advanced diagnostic tools such as MRI fusion biopsy help us pinpoint suspicious areas with greater accuracy, so treatment decisions are based on clear, reliable information.

Our Approach to Care

Every man’s diagnosis is different, and so is every treatment plan. Dr. Samadi reviews your PSA history, imaging, biopsy pathology, age, health, and personal goals before recommending a path forward. For some men, active surveillance is the right choice. For others, robotic surgery offers the best chance at a cure. We explain the benefits and trade-offs of each option in plain language so you can make a confident, informed decision.

From your first consultation through surgery and recovery, you work directly with Dr. Samadi and a consistent, experienced surgical team. Patients traveling from outside New York or from overseas can also take advantage of our international patient care services.

Why Early Detection Matters

When prostate cancer is found while it is still confined to the prostate, the five-year survival rate approaches 100%. Once it spreads to distant parts of the body, outcomes change dramatically. Because early prostate cancer rarely causes symptoms, regular screening is the most reliable way to catch it in time. If you are over 50, or over 45 with a family history or other risk factors, we encourage you to schedule a screening consultation. Learn more about why patients choose Prostate Cancer 911.
